“Connected school bags”
Etoile de Martin
Location: Hospital centres in Ile-de-France, France
L’Etoile de Martin is a developing organisation that works at hospital centres in Ile-de-France. It raises funds to support research on cancers affecting children and improve the well-being of hospitalised children.
The project presented as part of the Foundation prizes intends to help hospitalised children stay in touch with their schools through the use of a special digital tool, a “connected school bag”. The children will use the equipment – comprising a tablet, classroom-connected cameras and tie microphones for teachers – to interact with their classmates in real time. To acquire this equipment, the organisation is requesting financial support from the PSA Foundation.
