Road safety assistance in Kazakhstan
Road Safety of Kazakhstan "Common Road"
There are no awareness-raising initiatives on road traffic regulations or similar programmes for drivers in Kazakhstan. As such, the organisation has set up a road patrol system in the areas of Almaty most concerned by accidents. When drivers are arrested by the police, project participants intervene to explain the possible consequences of at-risk behaviour and seek to raise driver awareness of the importance of safety rules. The organisation is benefiting from the donation of a vehicle to implement these patrols. The field work is supplemented by a communication campaign on driving rules via the social networks and the motoring press.share this project
