Talk about your neighbourhood
Agitateurs de rêves
“Agitateurs de rêves” is an association of local residents using culture and roving events to develop social ties in the Haute-Savoie region. As its symbol and mascot, the association has a Citroën HY truck, which is involved in each project. It is used as a “Camioguinguette”, or mobile outdoor café, during “Coup de Théâtre”, an open-air professional festival, open to all. The truck also becomes a film set with the HAPPY Blog, which drives around the neighbourhoods looking for young local talent and innovative cultural initiatives.
The project involves putting in place a roving photo laboratory that will visit disadvantaged neighbourhoods and rural areas once a month during the school year. These workshops will be supervised by associations specialising in prevention and by a professional photographer. Young people taking part will be invited to take photos of the places in their neighbourhood that they consider to be significant. They will then describe what these photos mean for them. An exhibition entitled “Talk about your neighbourhood” will be organised around these photos. It will be hosted by the town halls of the towns and neighbourhoods visited.
