A licence-free car for a social and professional life
ESAT ADAPT Mayenne opened in 1965 and welcomes 83 workers who are registered as disabled. The facility enables these people to have access to a social and professional life in a managed and adapted working environment. Increasingly, the young people there wish to have independent travel but do not have the budget to purchase a vehicle. The project is for the association to purchase a means of transport that does not require the driver to have a licence and which is suitable for any type of disability. The association is also committed to training users in the Highway Code. The vehicle will assist in socialisation, independence and employability.
The support of the PSA Foundation will acquire such a vehicle to be made available to the disabled people.
