Driving courses for people with dysphasia
Avenir Dysphasie*, founded in 2011, gives young people a chance to follow an initial Highway Code course before joining a “regular” driving school to prepare for their test. Regular driving schools have little or no awareness of dysphasia and offer no adapted lessons. With the pre-training courses becoming increasingly successful, the Foundation is providing support for the second time to the organisation, sponsored by Bénédicte Juyaux.
*Dysphasia is a specific and lasting oral language problem, often accompanied by writing difficulties (dyslexia). In France, dysphasia affects more than one million people, or 2% of the total population.share this project
