Fondation Sindrome de West
Over time, the entourage of children with West syndrome* has expressed the need to get out of this serious disease context of this serious disease and have free time for their well-being. The Foundation West syndrome has started the « Program Respiro » that allows parents to send their children to the foundation at least one weekend per month. This initiative has been so well received by the families and children that the Foundation organizes such weekends twice a month. The support of the PSA Foundation helped develop the « Program Respiro » a second vehicle adapted to sustain the program and enable continuity of care necessary therapies for children.
* Encephalitis that affects babies 3 to 12 months.
