A vehicle for autistic people at Simone Veil homes
Autisme 75 Ile-de-France
Location: “Village Saint Michel”, Paris
The organisation provides assistance, advice and support to autistic people and their families and friends. In response to the lack of care infrastructure in the Paris region, the organisation was founded in 2003 to manage care and support centres.
Two homes will be opened in the 15th arrondissement in Paris in early 2017. They will be the first centres in Paris entirely dedicated to adults with autism. Thirty-two adults will resume the path to social and even professional integration in the centre of the city. The support of the Foundation will be used to finance the acquisition of a vehicle for daily journeys as part of the educational programme, as well as for special activities and holidays.
