APREVA, a vehicle repair and maintenance organisation, services and repairs vehicles for people in professional integration programmes and for other organisations.
The mechanics workshop is managed as part of an integration project. The organisation also manages socially-responsible vehicle hire.
Vehicle rental is currently limited to a period of three months – an insufficient amount of time given the needs of the beneficiaries.
To address that problem, the organisation has started to sell vehicles on a trial basis, while taking account of the financial and administrative difficulties of its public. Hence the creation of the “Dèch’Pack” in partnership with MACIF, an insurer, and ADIE, a micro-credit structure.
The pack includes the following:
- a vehicle and the corresponding registration papers,
- vehicle inspection,
- a three-month warranty on parts and labour,
- a third-party insurance contract at a guaranteed set price for 24 months in agreement with the insurer,
- a micro-loan over a period of 24 months in agreement with the micro-credit structure.
