Electrically-assisted bikes for young people
Mission Locale Pays de Fougères
The proposed project to rent out 20 electrically-assisted bikes is aimed at pooling the best practices of four Mission Locale centres. The system has already been tested by the Mission Locale in Fougères for a year with a fleet of four bikes. The usefulness of the initiative has been clearly demonstrated, particularly as concerns young women.
Each Mission Locale already offers mobility solutions, including carpooling, scooter and vehicle hire and the provision of bus tickets. The idea is to provide an additional solution to favour short-distance journeys requiring autonomous means outside organised circuits and in areas not covered by public transport or with inconvenient hours.
