Creation of a mobility platform
MISSION LOCALE DE L'ARRONDISSEMENT DE DIJON
Local players in employment initiated discussions on mobility in March 2013. In July 2013, as part of the “Mouv’Up, en route vers l’emploi” occupational integration project led by FARE, Grand Dijon and the Maison de l’Emploi et de la Formation (MDEF, an employment and training structure) worked together with local partners on the mobility platform project.
Activity at the mobility platform kicked off in 2015, supported by the Mission Locale:
– Phase 1: Introduction of mobility services, recruitment of a mobility consultant who will attend training on workshop coordination, mobility diagnoses and the use of software for monitoring beneficiaries. In parallel, the partners of the platform will be trained on taking mobility into account in their contacts with beneficiaries.
– Phase 2: Coordination of territorial mobility resources, to start up gradually in third-quarter 2015.
The support of the Foundation will help to accelerate the start-up of activities at the mobility platform.
