The “Mobicité” project aims to train and raise the awareness of some 500 individual job-seekers in the Ile-de-France region, one-third of them former prison inmates and two-thirds of them 16-25 year-olds having left school without qualifications.
- The training is divided into three parts:
- Mobility course: a week-long visit of historic and symbolic cultural and citizenship sites for a group of trainees, who will also work on reading maps, mapping out routes and establishing points of reference in time and space.
- Sustainable mobility training: public transport, bikes, walking, electric vehicles, carpooling and carsharing.
- Road education workshops: awareness-raising on the risks linked to addictive behaviour, driving too fast, making calls at the wheel, etc.
