Online shopping service
In early 2016, the grocery Epi’certise plans to set up an online shopping service by opening for an extra half-day every week. Customers signing up will receive a preliminary paper list and will be given an appointment to explain how the service works.
With this online shopping service, customers are able to do their shopping by telephone or using a webcam. The webcam lets them see the order picker filling up the trolley through to the end of the list. The articles are then scanned and the sales slip placed in the parcel. The shopping is then delivered either by grocery staff or by the post office (as part of a partnership currently under development).share this project
