Creation of “Agora-é” social food stores in universities
Fédération des Associations Générales Etudiantes (FAGE)
The project consists in financing light commercial vehicles to supply “Agora-é” socially-responsible student food stores set up across France on the impetus of the FAGE student federation. The programme addresses students living on between €1.20 and €7 a day and those with significant debts. The stores are also places to meet up and obtain information on the social issues of students.
Three Agora-é stores benefitted from a Foundation donation in 2012: Nice, Brest and Lille. The aim now is to equip those in Lyon, Saint-Etienne, Nancy and Strasbourg with small light commercial vehicles, which will be pooled with local organizations for optimal use.share this project
