Bringing food to people together
Banque Alimentaire de l'Ain (AIN FOOD BANK)
The project consists in setting up “travelling cookery workshops” using a kitchen-equipped vehicle. The aim is to optimise the use of food parcels distributed to beneficiaries and to limit waste, while fostering education on healthy diets. The workshops are also a way of forming social relations.
Having a vehicle would allow the food bank to visit remote areas of the Ain département and organise workshops, including in partnership with organisations lacking a kitchen. The Foundation’s support will be used to convert and equip a refrigerated vehicle into a “food truck”.
