Ready for the Highway Code
Mission Locale du Bassin de Longwy
The “Prêt pour le Code de la route” (Ready for the Highway Code) project consists in better targeting and supporting young people monitored by the Mission Locale in their path to integration and obtaining their driving licence. The initiative includes two types of workshop. The “Pre-code” workshop is for young people yet to register with a driving school, while the “Highway Code” workshop is for young people already signed up with partner driving schools.
These partnerships will be formally established through the signature of a three-party agreement between young people, the Mission Locale and the driving school. The aim is to encourage young people to obtain their licence through financial aid from the Mission Locale, paid to the driving school for a part of the driving course. This payment will be made following regular monitoring of the driving schools by the Mission Locale. The requested support will be used to invest in educational material and project coordination.share this project
