A new supervised driving service
INNOVATION ET DEVELOPPEMENT
With the support of the Foundation, the Innovation et Développement organisation is to buy a dual-control vehicle and roll out a supervised driving initiative with a network of volunteers.
This learning technique has a number of advantages:
– developing community spirit in the area,
– reducing training costs for the local authorities and individual learners,
– increasing driving experience and favouring success in driving tests.
In the second phase, the project will focus on mobility education, relying on the network of volunteers formed. The objective will be to extend the initiative to other parts of the agglomeration and develop other educational services from the volunteers involved, including on the use of public transport.
