Sustainable mobility, a springboard for employment
MEFAC works to foster the development of employment in the Caen agglomeration. To that end, it created a local socially-responsible mobility platform in 2012 to facilitate transport for job seekers. After implementing a mobility assessment, two organisations are proposing vehicle hire services at socially-responsible prices. The Foundation contributed to the rollout of the platform by offering 20 scooters and four vehicles.
In 2015 the Foundation allocated a vehicle to enhance the shuttle service.
